This album is a monolith! Massive and powerful, it oscillates between doomy death metal and raging thrash metal. Rough and hard, but also impressively creative and atmospheric - even moments of gentle tenderness are not missing! The whole thing ends in an 18-minute dark ambient soundscape that doesn't really fit in with the rest of the album.

I am only guessing that using a single word synonym for inflicting pain was liked and the adjective ‘Cruelty’ was picked and agreed upon. I could just fucking be talking bullshit? Fuck knows, But I like the word CRUELTY and I like this band more. Perfectly executed design all around. Carry on creating great music guys, I’m certainly going to carry on playing it to people who don’t have the choice of whether they wanna listen or not. 😁
